Anyone heard anything about Big 12 make up games being rescheduled for next week yet? I would think it would have to be done ASAP for travel and tv arrangements. I would assume everyone would be playing Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

It sounds like they're going to do their best to reschedule as many games as possible. We'll probably get the West Virginia game in for sure, but I'm not sure about Baylor. They've had to postpone 6 games, and I'm not sure how they'll prioritize which games get rescheduled.

A Big 12 administrator told me that every postponed game has been rescheduled in this COVID-ridden basketball season, though the conference hasn’t announced any makeup games beyond next Monday. It’s just a matter of whether those makeup games can be played.

The Baylor & West Virginia games have officially been rescheduled. It sure would be nice if we could find a way to go 2-2 and split our last 4 games.

That's a tall order, but this bunch can play. Any word on AA's right leg.
I haven't heard anything on AA. Hopefully he didn't get hurt too bad. We'll need him and Ice to be healthy if we're going to keep winning and make some noise in the postseason.

Absolutely brutal schedule to finish the season...

Saturday @ #7 OU
Monday vs #7 OU
Thursday @ #2 Baylor
Saturday @ #10 West Virginia

Throw in the fact that we just played #15 Texas Tech. We have the hardest remaining schedule in the country right?

I don’t get why the conference rescheduled both games when we only have one open slot in the schedule, that being the final Saturday. Asking the kids to travel that much before being gone the next weekend for the conference tournament the next week seems like poor decision making.

then the Bi2 12 Tourney ? brutal squared. 4 Games in 7 days, that will wear out the legs

Pluses: we get a taste of the quick turnaround against quality opponents like you see if ln the tournament and image our seed if we somehow for 4-0 or 3-1

Hmmm...

The final conference game count will then be:
BU 14 games
WVU 17 (BU cancelled)
OU 17 (BU cancelled)
KU 18
UT 17 (BU cancelled)
OSU 18
TT 17 (TCU cancelled)
KSU 18
TCU 16 (BU and TT cancelled)
ISU 18

Since we're in a tight race with UT, and maybe even OU and WVU, OSU and TT got screwed.

Oh, and while we're at it, apparently the bracketologists still don't like us much.

BU 1 seed
OU 3
WVU 3
UT 4
KU 5
TT 5
Ark 6
OSU 8
Wichita St 12

That’s crazy to me. We were an 8 seed going into last night, beat a top 20 team and stayed an 8 seed.

It would have been more balanced (and fair) if Baylor would have been scheduled to play UT, OU or WVU instead of TT. I guess they figured it would be fairer to OU, UT and WVU to all only have one game vs Baylor. To hell with OSU and TT.
