I asked where White won a MNC, you claimed he did when he did not have anything to do with it. Nobody ever claimed that Sanders won one, and Brent Parker dropped the pass in the end zone.

Not recognized by the NCAA?

ummmm...

http://www.ncaa.org/champadmin/ia_football_past_champs.html

Weird seeing the NCAA mention all past D-1A national champions in football on their website, isn't it?

As far as cheating goes....Hello Kettle!

I believe they're called MNCs because they are NOT NCAA sponsored. And, do you really want to post a single link for our indescretions vs the book The Undefeated which chronicles a history of cheating by your school since footbal became a sport? Seriously, our school is lily white compared to the history your's has of cheating regularly. If put in perspective, our's is a one liner in the NY Times, yours is the balance of what's published.

We can go the direction of wrestling too, even though I will admit those seemed a little trivial, IMHO.

OSU has been put on probation for cheating, same as OU. So it doesnt matter how you want to go about this, throwing stones in a glass house will surely break something.

Where did I claim he did?

I think you are thinking of someone else. Even though he was part of the 2000 team.

Actually his redshirt season was in '99...
White played late in two games in 2000, and didn't throw any passes...
that works too. the fact is, he was part of that team, even though I never claimed he won a national championship for OU, though he was part of the team when they played in three of them.

. Why might you ask...because I DONT CARE!
That's the same way that rest of the country feels about your "national championships" in kickball and tiddleywinks. It's funny when Okie state throws out their 4000 national championships in bs. Makes them sound like arky with their claim to fame of "34 indoor 34 outdoor" (track). Glad OU doesn't flaunt their mathletes like the wannabes.

Everybody knows OU likes to bend the rules. Hell, that is a bonus in my books. Kind of seperates them from the nerdy uptight programs like ND. The fact is that OU can bend the rules and win NC and rule CFB for generations and all OSU can do is dream and steam with envy.

State something the general public does not know.

OU is one of the worst historically. But OSU is not a very clean program either.

Or does your memory just tend to forgive and forget, kinda like mine?

When OSU is spotless, which they never will be, let me know.

BTW, did you miss the article about OSU paying their players in the 1980s?

Over 40 infractions made. In fact, if you read my post again, you will see that an NCAA investigator said it was the worse he seen since the SMU thing (back in 1989). Say what you want, but again, do not throw stones in our glass house.

This is coming from a :mullet:

Every school does it.

In fact, I would not be at all surprised when all the new facilities are complete at OSU, they will start "bending" some rules so they can actually accomplish Mr. Picken's goals.

I never said we didn't cheat, it was our way of leveling the playing field in the 80s...the reason you still get away with it is due to the amount of revenue you generate for the toothless dogs at the NCAA. Our history of cheating is minute compared to yours. You know it as do we so quit trying to justify what you did, you cheated to win in FB.
