Agreed. Seems more likely that there was an agreement between the two that no announcement would take place if OU was still in the CFP hunt. Once that door closed, the other opened immediately, and it released them to proceed.

They weren't terrible under Pelini, but thought they deserved better and didn't like his attitude. They thought Scott Frost was their version of Gundy and it seemed like he could be, but finished 3-9 this year and has extended their worst streak of losing seasons.

Now we find out Riley’s bailing, recruits are de-committing or likely will, they could lose one or both of their 2 QB’s, and now it seems there may be some bitter feelings throughout.
