Oklahoma State men’s basketball team just navigated one of the toughest five-game stretches in recent memory, and they did so with one loss and capped it with a huge win over the No. 6 team in the country.

Oh yeah, and the Pokes were with out a future No. 1 pick and their starting PG.

There are myriad storylines to delve into but we should probably start with the most obvious. How does this impact the Cowboys’ Tournament case?

• According to ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi, the Pokes remain a No. 4 seed.

• But a close second in storyline rankings is how good is Avery Anderson?

My VBDI PTPer of the night is AVERY ANDERSON III of @OSUMBB Oklahoma State . Avery sparked the Cowboys scoring 31 & leading OSU to a win on the road vs a good West Virginia team . The Cowboys played without superstar Cade Cunningham .

• You should check out Marshall’s Five Thoughts on the big win.

Mike Boynton had plenty to say, as you might imagine, following the finale of his best season.

• The Tulsa World‘s Bill Haisten on OSU’s shot at the Big Dance, despite looming charges.

The NCAA has a history of controversial and questionable decisions, but it feels like the Cowboys won’t have their hearts broken in this situation. It feels like a very interesting OSU team will get a shot at a special March. [Tulsa World]
