Of course he's not. My point is that a leader should be able to brush it aside and forge ahead. Criticism is part of the job.
that is so old school..... Dub-ya did that and it's cost "us" forever. Some idiots still believe that Bush lied people died.

Those days are gone. So long as the media maintains it's hatred for freedom, then I'm all for Trump doing and saying whatever he feels is necessary.

Something must be done, and he's the only one so far with the back bone do address the media on their own terms.

Thanks to The Donald - we are no longer subject to "political correctness", which is a term that by it's definition implies that only one view is ever acceptable - the view with the most exposure.

Thank you President Trump

What a wonderful way to govern by saying whatever he feels is necessary. Trump proclaims himself Tariff Man and the DOW drops nearly 800.

I think most people by now understand that Trump is not the easiest guy to work for and like most of the rest of DC is probably not a completely moral person either. But the way the left jumps on and reports every little criticism like this is I think having the opposite effect to what they intend. The "boy who cried wolf" effect is just so strong right now that even legit criticisms are starting to get ignored, even by people like me who don't much care for Trump. The over the top way the left and their media have treated this president would be a good thing IF, and only IF, they would treat all other politicians the same way......they don't and they won't.

I'm sure there have been dicks in the white house before, I'm sure there have been corrupt people in the white house before, I'm sure other presidents haven't kept up on briefings before (this was a big criticism of Obama too BTW). And I'm sure all or some of these same traits will appear in future presidents. Again IF we the people would hold all of them to the same standard instead of letting the letter by their name decide who we criticize and who we don't, then maybe we could find presidents who aren't extremely flawed....but we don't and we won't.

And even if what Tillerson say here is 100% true, guess what, I still prefer Trump over Hillary because of SCOTUS, taxes and regulations....those three things are worth a lot of crap from the person in the white house.

Trump is working on the ECONOMY, not the stock market.

.... and it's not as if the Dow has only ever dropped under Trump.... my lord.

seems like it drops just about every time the Feds talk about interest rates too... or other world events happen

There is no way he can be compared to any other president. Hell, just the Twitter nonsense alone is enough to justify the microscope he's under.

Barry promised "transparency" and gave us the most corrupt administration of my lifetime. Trump gave us true transparency and the most honest administration of my lifetime.

Like it or not, he says what he thinks and he doesn't care how anyone feels about it.

Why can't he be compared to any other presidents? That's just silly. Why wouldn't you want all our elected officials to be subject to the same microscope that Trump is under?

Twitter, fucking Twitter.
Heck, you don't need a microscope for his tweets, those are out there for all to see. Microscopes are used to see what you can't see. It's the politician who gives measured, rehearsed, perfectly correct political speech all the time that I'm more afraid of.

Weird assumption that just because he says what's on his mind that his administration is transparent and honest. In reality, none of us have any idea what is going on behind closed doors. His antics could just as easily be a calculated distraction as they could be transparency.

Quite possibly true, however, it's my opinion.
