I know the turf is being replaced and seating changed in phases. Are they doing some seating changes in the North Side this summer?

I don't believe the seating updates will happen until the end of the 22 season and be ready for 23.
looking at the choices during the seat selection period, I think this is correct as there were no changes to the selections available. if they add aisle and thus remove seats for '22, it should have showed up back then.

On north side they were talking about sections 223-227 and 329-332 getting an extra aisle or two for better access/egress.
But also that any area with the old style benches might get upgraded and thus lose some seats.
Thank you sir. We're in 303 so it got me to wondering, but I don't consider ours to be a large (in terms of width/number of seats on a row) section to begin with.

yah, that's kind of what they are trying to solve. The sections I mention are like 50 seats wide so at some point folks are crawling over 25 people to get out to an aisle.

RA saying we need to do everything to get into the SEC and OSU may be next to get invite into SEC. Apparently rumor of MO maybe leaving the SEC. Apparently Shrum and Weiberg are interested in leaving new Big 12.

We need to upgrade and probably get more seats in a second level to add 15,000 more seats to attract SEC.

It might help, but with Vanderbilt at just 40,000 and less competitive than us in football, I don't believe it would be a deal-breaker.

This is purely a rumor, but I was talking to an Arkansas fan during the regional that said Paul Finebaum mentioned a rumor of the SEC considering OSU and FSU. I found nothing about this online, so I’m highly skeptical, but crazier things have happened.

If rumor turned out to be fact, I'm guessing they have eyes on BiG?

That would be the only conference they would leave the SEC for. They wanted in the B1G before Corn got the invite. So if MU goes to the B1G, who is the second school? And maybe #3 and #4?

It will be interesting to see what the new B1G TV contract says about additional schools being added to the conference.

Kansas (pretty much just basketball) and/or Iowa State (basketball and football)?

Definitely not aware of that, however, wasn't this previously discussed and noted the conference doesn't seem to be enforcing it since Nebraska doesn't have theirs? Or maybe they do and I'm getting mixed on the schools.
Lost it after they joined the Big 10. Not being AAU won't be why Iowa State doesn't make it into the Big 10 though.
