The funniest part is this guys later statement to the media. He claims to be a straight ticket voting Democrat and rabid anti-trumper. If true then you will see this story disappear from the media. If he was a Republican though, this story would make the news cycle for the next 48 hours and every outlet in the mainstream media would repeat this womans allegation that the man told her to go back where she came from as absolute fact and present it as evidence of "Trump bad". Never mind that there is no evidence he said it, the media wouldn't care. All this because she was going through the express lane with more than 10 items.....color me shocked a politician thinking they don't have to follow the same rules as the rest of us and then getting mad when someone calls them out on it.

Maybe somebody should tell the guy that this is what you get voting straight ticket Democrat....many of us have been warning people for years that the PC police would eventually turn on their own. Reap what you sow.

The outrage from the original Erica Thomas hoax was all over the left media, celebs, and D lawmakers twitter. The corrections and rebukes to the story, only on right media etc. Two months from now we will still be hearing the "Go back where you came from!" lie.

Even Twitter was still showing it as trending with all her original statements yesterday.

Update: Well, thank god, Macy's cowed to somebody's tweet & has removed the plates from it's stores!
Not to say this was a good or bad decision, but I'd assume that the type of person that would want to buy plates like that probably isn't shopping for them at Macy's... That's really more of an Amazon/Target type item IMO. :D
