Outside of a haircut can anybody name an item or service they have not been able to purchase somewhere? I’m not talking about stuff that is out of stock.

This whole deal with the mayors in ok insisting we keep businesses closed for me to thinking about this. In Stillwater our mom and pop shops are closed but corporate giants like Walmart and Lowe’s are thriving. If you can’t get what you need there go to amazon. People are praising our mayor for killing mom and pop and keeping them closed but at the same time spending all of their money at Walmart.

If you’re shopping where are you the most afraid of catching it? Walmart or local business on Main Street?

About the only thing I can think of is antique stores are closed. My wife and I enjoy going to them and you aren't getting any of that stuff at Walmart.

Furniture stores are open. How is new furniture "essential"?

We are nearing a time when all businesses will be back open with social distancing guidelines very soon...Like a week maybe...right?

Thrift stores. My wife loves them. Although the super thrift did get an exemption and has already opened back up. They work with men in rehab and needed to get going again for funding and job training.

All this virus is doing is killing small business. Think of the local restaurants.

We have one vote for antique and one for thrift store.

So question is where do you feel you’re more likely to get the virus? Walmart or antique/thrift store? That shows the insanity of all of this.
Restaurants, Casinos, Nail Salons, Massage Parlors, Gyms, Tuesday Morning all kinds of service industries where you have one on one contact are closed. That's in Ok where we have had minimal closings. Most of it is small business. Big business has been allowed to carry on.

I was having lunch with a friend today, He pointed out people were getting stimulus checks now and people are itching to spend money. They can’t go to small businesses so large stores like Walmart are getting a huge benefit.
