We’re buying another laptop at work and our IT guys want to stick with 10 for now. Not sure if there are bugs not worked out or what.

Unless you just enjoy being on the bleeding edge (and you have a computer that will support it), I would let it simmer for a while longer.

Windows has been out since Oct. 5. Has anyone tried and think it's better for being less cluttered?
I installed it. It has alot of QOL improvements. I dont see any real improvements on performance though, but that is likely due to my cutting edge hardware. I think its worth moving too if you dont mind a few bugs.

There have been some performance issues with Ryzen 5000 processors. I would wait until more bugs are worked out before switching.

From reading the AMD subreddit, those have been fixed and it seems the 5000 series are working as intended.
In the latest patch, the main one has been resolved, but benchmarks are still slightly slower on Windows 11 than Windows 10. I am gonna wait at least a year to update to Windows 11.

I am more interested in Steam OS 3.0 coming out in the next few months, at least for gaming.

Yea ive never been too interested in the steam os. It seems much more suited for the handheld they got coming.

IT sticks with what works until forced to change. Changing operating systems brings in a lot of variables. Especially if you mix OS versions in your workplace.
