Well, until it is a major bank and not a crappy bar.
Don't care it's supposed to be a free country with a government by the people and for the people. As long as they don't have the democratic power to overcome our republic and it's rule of law. Democracies suck ultimate form of tyranny. Tyranny of the mob.

Easy for you to say.

You are aware that our republic's laws prevent that type of discrimination, right?

Yes sir I'm very aware of that. They don't keep a large bank from denying a gun purchase on my credit card though. Doesn't stop anyone just makes it less convenient.

A world where skin color was never mentioned would be the best.

Funny story. My company has 2 offices in Enid I'm up there a couple weeks a year. Never heard of that restaurant. No one has ever recommended it to me. They loose a lot of business by being assholes.

Free speech takes care of itself.

You evaded both questions I asked. And you’re not being honest about the content of the video.
The first seven seconds is literally just one of his supporters yelling white power. It's right there in the opening, loud as can be. I would expect the President of the United States, tweeting from his official account, when he's declared that his tweets are official communications, would know what it is he's tweeting. So once again, Trump supporters are left with the argument that he was too incompetent to know what he was doing? Seriously, how many times can they say he's too incompetent to know what he was doing but he's still competent enough to lead the most powerful country in the world.

And you're defending the man's words by telling me I'm supposed to judge if in his heart, he believed what he was shouting or not? I know I don't go around shouting white power at people in public. I know decent humans don't go around shouting white power at people in public.

Edit: I will admit I was wrong about the entire video being just the dude shouting white power because the only time I had watched it I just saw the first :07 seconds and it's literally just one of his supporters shouting white power. When I read the headline I thought maybe it was quietly in the background but nope, it's front and center and there's no possible way anyone who watched that video could miss it. And still, here we are in 2020 arguing semantics about the President of the US retweeting a video of a supporter yelling white power.

You're still missing the point. The instant you try to limit it, you've gone too far. Because it's not about this particular issue. It's about rights. You either protect them or you don't. There's no such thing as reasonable restrictions.

The Nazi flag doesn't give a person the right to kill someone, regardless of what they believe.
Is a speed limit a reasonable restriction?
Driving is a privilege, not a right. Thus it is subject to rules and regulations by the government that restrict it's usage.

Um, I guess someone should tell you that you are not a credible source as to conspiracy theorists.

I used to believe the republicans didn’t like socialism. These new republicans are more like democrats. Free medicaid how about getting a job.

Look at the split of the vote. It was a narrow passage of it.

Him polling in the mid 30's is mind boggling. Biden is a completely uninspiring candidate but at least he wasn't completely unprepared for a global pandemic and the economic fallout. His numbers are awful but they should be catastrophically bad now.

Trump fucking sucks and people need to get over how cool it is that he stumbles into trolling the left to so we can all realize that no matter your political agenda we need an adult in the White House now.

He's polling in the 30s means literally nothing to me. 2016, he was expected to get drove. People lied to the pollsters because back then it was considered racist to vote for Trump. That hasn't changed, and I think a LOT of people that aren't on Twitter or this forum are going to look around this country and vote for him.

Why? Fear.

The left wants to defund the police and some places are cancelling 4th of July. Monuments and and statues are coming down left and right. Confederates, sure, but also abolitionists that died in the Civil War, and the Lincoln Emancipation statue that built on the motivation of freed slaves.

Where is it the worst right now? Of the top 20 most dangerous cities and towns to live, 1 of them isn't democrat run. It's actually led by an independent.

Average Joe wants police. Average Joe wants to get back to work. Average Joe doesn't want to be called a racist and get fed to the angry mob, but I don't think they are going to vote for those that seem to support the crazy bs that is being crammed down everyone's throat right now.

He might not win, but I'm willing to bet there's a lot more crazy between now and then. There's also a great chance there will be a lot of violence and attempted fascist bs on election day. Sounds good. Let's vote for that.

I’m not defending anybody. I just believe everything should be placed in the proper context. You write a wall of text and still don’t answer either question. And you’re still dishonest about the video. It isn’t 7 seconds of a guy shouting while power. It’s an angry mob of people chanting “racist, racist, racist” at a guy for being a Trump supporter that then sarcastically says “white power” back twice to them.

Should Trump have retweeted it? No, but clearly he didn’t know the guy said white power in jest at the end. It was a dumb decision by Trump not a racist one. Should the guy have said white power? No but clearly it was sarcastically said. And where is the condemnation of a mob of people yelling “racist” at somebody else for no reason?

You tried to make a point completely out of context which in my mind is pretty weak.

What's your evidence that Biden was prepared for the pandemic? What exactly did he do that filled you with confidence in his abilities to handle such a crisis?

This is the funny thing to me. There is a lot of stuff about Trump that I dislike but his reaction to the pandemic isn't one of them. I actually rate that as one of his better accomplishments in office.

Much of the federal response was based on the CDC and would have been EXACTLY the same regardless of who was president. Trump went beyond that. Stopping flights from China just 1 month after the virus was known.....a move roundly criticized by the Dems by the way.

And I don't think Hillary or Biden or any other career politician could have mobilized businesses to help the way Trump did. Of course it's all opinion and everybody is going to believe whatever the hell they want. As usual.

How does average Joe support a candidate that tweets "White power" without it appearing racist?

Seriously, just change the context away from Trump and consider that. If someone was running for sheriff and tweeted supporters saying "defund the police" chants then said "Oops, I just thought it was a supporter, I don't really want to defund the police" would you still vote for that person for sheriff? Trump gets away with things that nobody in the history of politics has even come close to doing. Sorry, if you support it, you support it. Voting for a candidate is a package, not an a la carte menu.

Try walking around in a rural Oklahoma town in a Kapernick jersey and see what kind of looks and jeers you get. Then explain that you just liked the way he played football and you don't support the other things. See if that line of thought works for the detractors.

I watched the same video even after I heard about the claim someone was shouting white power. I missed it the first time I watched the video. Trump retweeted it because as @GodsPeace says, Trump is a buffoon. He tweets and retweets constantly. I don’t think any sane person believes he saw the idiot saying white power. He is a lot of things, but haven’t seen any evidence he is a racist.
But the media has convinced a lot of people he is. It is zero surprise to me that he is struggling in polling. His policies are aligned to most in the middle, but his behavior turns off moderates and independents. People want to see the President “act presidential” and he doesn’t.
The only way he wins is if the left keeps getting more extreme. The abolish the police crowd that literally hates the police could lose the election for Biden. Biden was smart not to take the defund the police bait because the alignment with libs with that cause could hurt him.

That is an incredible amount of rationalization. I mean, wow, just wow.

I'm trying to think about my life as a white person and the times I have been accused of racism, which for all of us is at least a few. And, now, the times that I thought yelling "WHITE POWER" and raising my fist was an appropriate response because, you know, that would obviously just be sarcasm. LOL. This board is truly unbelievable sometimes.

See above re: rationalization. Just wow. There is no way to miss that man raising his fist and screaming WHITE POWER. I'm mean, wow.

I want a president who realizes that he has AT BEST made multiple repeated gaffes that appear racist. Doesn't matter if he is or not, it appears that way based on what he has done. Therefore, the best course of action would be to completely avoid anything that could appear racist. But, no. They just keep happening and you guys want so badly to not be associated with that so you rationalize it away. But, it is either the most incredible incompetence in the history of the office to repeatedly make these mistakes or it is purposeful. That truth cannot be rationalized away.

Again, you vote for the man, not a la carte policies. If you want that association, that is your choice.

You are in denial, that statement was as clear as day.

He has a lengthy history of saying things that are racist or have racist undertones. This is just another chapter in a lengthy book. At best, he is a racist sympathizer, at worst, a racist piece of shit.

If you want to associate with that it is your business, but I am going to judge the hell out of you for doing so.
