Promoting or expanding socialistic programs does not make us a socialist country. I'm much more worried that the sycophant Republicans will not lift a finger against this self-absorbed madman , and the gutless Democrats won't impeach him, and we'll end up a fascist country. He's sounding more like Mussolini everyday and with another term God only knows who he'll resemble.
Pokey - The way you feel now is exactly how many Republicans felt in 2012...we will survive, and thrive. The congress and the courts are always a balance and the pendulium ALWAYS swings (God help us)..

You probably think that the Republican led Congress and Sen. McCain is where hurt can be found by their failure to abolish ObamaCare.
Huh? My question is what horrible things has Trump done. You got nothing.

all you can do is reference something that did not happen?

I asked for examples of things that DID HAPPEN. you got nothing.

and the rally cry was "repeal and REPLACE".... good things are on the way if he can just get a couple of more terms.

shouldn't the discussion be whether the Constitution survives? Of course "we" will survive, but the Constitution is on it's death bed, and barely serves us any longer. with morons trying to eliminate the electoral college and other drastic structural changes.

You're a hapless idiot. If people want to see a sterling example of why the publicly educated children are slack jawed simpletons as adults (antifa, pussy hats, free stuff, historical ignorance, etc) all they have to do is look to failed educators like you. You're a cancer on the profession.

God, what a fool.

When are Republicans going to abolish ObamaCare now? They wasted 2 years and couldn't do it. I guess they're going to wait for their judges to throw out ALL of it. That would include the extra Medicaid. It will be interesting to see how awful that turns out. It surely won't be a laughing matter. Most of the states accepted more Medicaid.
You are correct the Republican party choked on that one. You can't bash Trump for that. I have never been a fan of most of the Republican Party anyway. I hold my nose and vote for them because it is the lesser of two evils that will destroy our constitution and freedoms at a slower pace.

Yes, but that won't happen and the constitution is still the law of the land and with more 'originalist' now on the supreme court it is actually in better condition now and I'd say it's moved out of ICU at the very least. Btw, the biggest threat to the constitution is the progressive media and it's hype machine.

could be... I still contend that the biggest threat to the Constitution (our freedom) is the 17th Amendment, and the Law that allows Administrative Departments to make laws without congressional oversight.

that and lack of a balanced budget / out of control spending

Interesting how OSU students favored voting for Democrat candidates across the board in Nov. 2018. One example below. Bleedinorange as a far right conservative, who believes public education and its political agenda failed children, better hope that more OSU students by the time they're age 30 start rejecting Democrats and embrace Republican candidates. OSU student voters may represent young people in general.

Impeach him for what? Democrats are many things, but they have never been gutless when it comes to pushing their agenda or getting their way. Not like the Republicans, who are the real cowards in Congress. No Pokey, the Democrats won't impeach him because they have no cause to impeach him.....and they know it.

Oh, and LOL at the Mussolini comparison. History much?

Reality simpleton. Too entrenched in socialist ideology to be of any value to anyone. Wife secretly hates you, children embarrassed of you. Weak, cowardly, and stupid. Walking-talking underachieving joke. Thank you and your ilk for being guarantors of a second term for Trump.

Winning :)
Thanks for proving that TDS goes both ways. Otherwise, semi-normal people turned into unhinged angry radicals once they've bowed to their false god. Like Trump, any pointing out policy blunders or lies releases unwarranted personal attacks. Congratulations you're one irrational crazy who says whatever pops into his tiny little mind verbatim. Bet you have a comb over and tiny hands too!

Obviously, you've spent your time watching and listening to sources that love and defend Republicans. Try reading the Mueller report volume two. Observe even now the continual obstruction in failing to turn over materials that allow Congress to perform their Constitutional oversight duties.

Young people have always been democrats, at least the majority of them. They haven't been in the real world yet to see how taxes and other policies effect them. Once they see all the idealistic policies from the left are just 'buying' their vote and would only hurt the working class in the long run they bail to the GOP.

Wonder if that has anything to do with the Socialists occupying the title "professor" at a rate of 12-15 to ONE (Conservative). What a shocker! Socialists shoveling their leftist bullshit down our kids throats.Any student that speaks up against is admonished or embarrassed. Wake up pinhead, they are kids and when they have to compete in the real world...you know, the one where you are judged on your ability and value and not protected by a University or government position reality will kick em right between the legs.

So you can't tell me what he should be impeached for......because there's no cause in the Mueller report. If there was, the Dems would've impeached him. Give me specifics, not the DNC talking points.

I agree with you on one thing. If the Dems do think they have cause, they have a duty to impeach....so get on with it.

Unfortunately townie I do believe you are correct about this. Our education system has been taken over by Marxist and it is doing a good job of brainwashing the youth of this nation to vote in the political ideology that millions of people come to this country to escape.

Talk to people who have come here to escape from socialist/communist countries the democrats terrify them. They have lived it and know what the democratic party is bringing.
