If he wasn't behind Blackmon, easily drafted in the early rounds. Wasn't he our #1 guy when Dez was taken out due to the DUI thing

Blackmon got the DUI. Dez talked to Deion Sanders and lied about it...

Did Chargers cut him? I thought he signed with Chargers right after the draft.

Good for him, he is a good WR. Felt so bad for him when he went down.

I'll always remember Hubert for this as long as I live:

"Wide receiver Hubert Anyiam dedicated his first touchdown of the year to Dustin Hefley of the U.S. Navy, who just returned home from deployment. Anyiam wrote to Hefley before scoring the touchdown that his first score of the year would be for him, then after he found the end zone twice against Tulsa, wrote Hefley again to reaffirm that those scores were in his honor."

Love to see this. The guy was so snakebitten when it came to injuries and was having a terrific season before his injury. Go Hubert!

    Day dream a bit here...

It's just hard to imagine if Dez would have stayed another year how sick our WR corps would have been. Can you imagine Dez and Blackmon wide with Hubert and/or Cooper and/or Tracy Moore(i think he would have been a RS Frosh or a RS Soph?) in the slot in a 4 WR set. Especially with Weeden at QB? I think he makes Dez a for sure top 5 draft pick... Makes Blackmon come back for a 4th year and still a top 5 draft pick..Possibly would have made Cooper and Anyiam top 4 round draft picks just like RGIII did with Kendall Wright (don't kill me because I metioned RGIII.. this is just an analogy).

    A lot of "ifs"...

umm you are way confused but good try lol. Dez suspended due to NCAA thing with Deion. He ate dinner at Deion's house and lied about it- ewwww nooo! lol
Anyiam always had talent but not a draftable guy. Not close to Dez or Blackmon but definitley can run and has size.

I think his hand's aren't quite good enough but has talent.

It's also quite possible that with Dez returning, Blackmon doesn't get that fire lit under his ass during the following spring and he may never have become the Blackmon we all know and love. From everything I've heard, he owed a majority of his success to hard work, practice, and strength training rather than the kind of natural freak talents a guy like Dez brings to the table.

If I could go back and somehow have a hand in any of that, don't think there's much I would change. I love the path that brought us to where we are today, even if there were some painful bumps on the road. Makes the success even sweeter.

A TU fan at work states Hubert will always be on the practice squad and wants to make a bet that he will never see a real game. Should I take that bet?
