It really sucks to lose Sims, but because he doesn't seem to possess the ability to think, I'm glad that he's not affiliated with my alma mater anymore.

    So that leaves us with:

    Randle
    Smith
    Roland
    Staley
    Muncrief.

Desmond Roland just saw his carries go up, which I'm looking forward to seeing.. Any chance Muncrief plays this season or does he still redshirt?

Well, it's obvious that Randle is just an "ok" back and Smith is entirely too slow.

So the obvious answer is to start Staley until we can convince BJS to transfer from Stanford.

I seriously doubt he redshirts, Gundy wanted a speedy back for a reason. He is gonna come in better shape than most of the guys because he is been running track all spring.

Gundy has already told Muncrief he will not redshirt. Also Staley is a fullback.

Man, with a stable of "studs" like this we wont miss Sims. He seemed like a nice kid on the one interview I saw, hope he does well.

It's not his fault, it's his "computor's" fault.

I read an article on rivals where Muncrief said Gundy wanted him to come in and play as a freshman, but that he would have to work for it like everybody else. So I think we will see him this year.

I'm just ready to see Muncrief hit a seam and be off to the races. Can't wait to hear other teams go "Who the hell is that?"

I guess I'm just not as optimistic as most about him. He was offered in the last second and his only other offer was TU. I just don't see Gundy having some grand plan for him..

You never know with some guys. They can go from being a nobody to making a big impact in some way. Look at Colton Chelf and his contributions last season. I'll always remember his catch in the closing moments of the Fiesta Bowl.
