Was listening to the Franchise this morning and they reported that Spencer Sanders has some sort of ligament issue in his injured hand and Dru Brown might start this weekend. Anyone heard anything?

Why didn't you watch the game Saturday, when the injury happened?

All seriousness aside, he got his right thumb bent out of shape. It's either fine, or hell have to have his entire arm amputated, we on the internet haven't finished our diagnosis. And no one is going to believe the Gundy statement despite Sanders being in practice.

All of this news is just coming out this morning. So things might have changed since Saturday. Sometimes where there is smoke there’s fire ala Tylan Wallace.

Love it or hate it, Gundy's policy on injuries hasn't changed since he's been here. We'll know one way or the other Saturday morning.
With betting on college football now legal, id like to see the same injury reporting requirements for college coaches as the NFL. Otherwise some bettors could have critical inside knowledge when they bet.

Amputation not required. We can rebuild Sander’s injured hand. We have the technology.

Anyone else have the feeling Dru is gonna light it up Saturday and ignite a mini QB controversy for Bedlam? That would be a nice problem to have.

You don’t think that is widespread in the NFL? Also, coaches like Belichick exploit the list. Hell, I think half the team is always listed as questionable.

Would be nice. But last time we had an injury deal controversy with qb’s it didn’t fare so well. Though Dru is probably a much better passer than the guy who I’m talking about

It's at least nice to have the comfort in not being concerned if the backup has to play... With how Dru played Saturday, I have very little worry if he ends up starting this weekend.

Hope Spencer's ok and can return to action soon. But, with Dru at QB, that might actually open up the passing game.

Gundy has a history of playing injured players.

I once had a thumb injury which sounds similar to this and that hand was pretty much useless for anything requiring power for many months.
