Given they are the 9th best defense in the SEC, not sure I would call their speed "vaunted".

Ar-kin-saw somehow got the time out called in time. Questionable.

Most of their front 7's deserve it. Have you seen Bama's 6'4" 260 lb. LB'ers run? Their D-lines have more speed overall than any other conference. However, you only play one team at a time.

Arkansas' LB'er #35 got the corner running from across the field on the opening KO and ran it to the KSU 40.

But the 9th best defense in the SEC is like the first best defense anywhere else!

Their D gave up over 330 yards rushing to aTm, 220 rushing to Vandy, 200+ rushing to Auburn, 200 rushing to Bama and 220 rushing to LSU. Not exactly stellar.

Have you seen the offenses they face week in and week out in the sec?

How would they look if they had to defend 5 legit receivers at a time week in and week out?

Yep, I watch them. Did you see what LSU and Bama's defenses did to Arkansas with 4 preseason Belitnikoff finalists?

They have good WR's in the SEC, but they are often overshadowed by the RB's.

KSU can't get pressure and can't cover downfield.

    Ya preseason doesn't mean much.

The goons were a unanimous preseason #1.

The LSU and Bama D-lines ate up Arkansas' O-line which is why they couldn't score much. Their front lines are head and shoulders above anyone else this year.

And 3 AR WR's will be playing in the NFL next year, 4 if #11 leaves early.

That's one team out of 12 (now 14).

It would be huge for KSU to hold them to 3 here.

When they refer to SEC speed, they are talking about the defenses of Bama/LSU this year and teams like Auburn, Florida, etc. in years past. When the SEC teams have met offenses like OU's who was scoring 60 per game the last half of the season in the NC games and they hold them to 14, it's because their defenses are bigger and faster than what they are used to facing.

Yeah, and when the point was made that the defenses in the SEC are so good statistically because they spend all year beating up on awful offenses and you brought up Arkansas, I said that one team out of 14 doesn't prove that their offenses are in fact good.

The SEC has stuck it to one legitimate offense in the Florida v. OU game. That was about it.

Again, why KSU keeps setting up designed passes and no runs most of this game is flabbergasting.
