Huge facepalms on leaving Walt Garrison off as fullback, and Juqua Parker as backup at DE (and wasn't Jason Gildon a DE as well?). Oh and no Keith Burns at LB???

Keith Burns at LB might be best ever at OSU. Jason Gildon at DE (play LB in NFL for Steelers I believe) as well as Juqua Parker (Eagles) at DE should be added. Walt Garrison should be starter at FB and Crosslin backup. Can someone please post these names to bleacher report so they know.

Also Jon Kolb should be starting offensive lineman definitely. Up there with Okung. Kolb might be better than Okung, won 3 super bowls starting for Pittsburgh Steelers.

He lost all credibilty with me when he made no mention of Phillip Dokes or Leslie O'Neal. Dokes was better than White who he played with and O'Neal was the best ever at OSU. I probably would have had Mayes ahead of Pettigrew.

Oh yes, and how do you leave an NFL stud like Garrison off at fullback? Bob Devanney called Walt the toughest runner he'd ever coached against. How old is this guy, about fourteen?

Mark Moore struck fear in the heart of opposing players. I would not be able to deep him off of my all time defenders.

Dokes was listed at DT with Kevin Williams and O'Neal was listed at DE with Antonio Smith. I would have put Jamal Williams at NT and Jerry Sherk might belong on the D-line as well. Jon Kolb (NFL All-Pro and 4-time Super Bowl champion) obviously belongs on the O-line.
In any case, this list is obviously written by someone with a superficial knowledge of OSU football. Not surprising for Bleach Report.

I believe the proper response to this thread is "bleacher report? :ban:"

Yes...Walt Garrison fullback, second Garret Limrick (sp) over Crosslin.
Jon Kolb best offensive lineman, defensive tackle, I'd take Jerry Shirk over
    John Ward.

Mark Moore belongs in the secondary.
Who was the other safety opposite Mark Moore, his 3rd or 4th year? He also was a gamer. Seems like he was from Stroud, Chandler, some town along the turnpike to Tulsa.

which once again reasserts why the ONLY reason time travel should ever be created, is so we can form all-time greatest teams for exhibition competition.
I would love to see the all-time OSU team take on the all-time OU team. Past Jason White would be thrown to the ground like a rag doll by Leslie O'Neal- thus ruining his career- again.
Who will be our coach? I vote 45 year old Gundy as head coach, with Dave Wannestedt as our DC, and Bill Young as our D line coach. Holgy and Monks can be co-OC's and we'll get PJ and Joe Deforest to be our Co- special teams coaches.

    People he missed.....

    Bob Fenimore
    Larry Roach
    Ricky Young
    Leslie O'Neal
    Rod Brown
    Mark Moore
    Phillip Dokes
    Mike Green
    Matt Monger
    Dexter Manley

Note: I'd put R. Woods and Dykes over Dez Bryant. While Bryant might have had more natural ability he was never as effective as Woods or Dykes. If it's only about what you look like in a uniform...

    R. Woods owns 3 of OSU's top 5 games in receiving yards (Bryant 1), 3 of the top 10 seasons in yards and receptions. Byrant owns 1 top 10 season in each yards and receptions and is 5th in career receiving yards behind Woods, Blackmon, Dykes and Woods.

In addition to Walt Garrison, I expected to see Dan Bailey as back-up kicker and the NCAA"s "Mr. Offense" and overall #1 draft pick of his day Bob Fennimore listed somewhere.
