Mizzou wins another from Huskers, 6-5.

Everything is getting even more difficult for the Cowboys reaching the Big 12 tournament.

Chair, your "inspired play" message sums it up.

Getting swept by a mediocre tag team could put us in the unenviable position of needing to sweep a team to climb out of the cellar and push them into it.

OSU scores one on the second double.

    Uribe hurt himself running home.

Poor base running by a Cowboy.

It sounds like tags are feeding off of every Cowboy mistake or poor choice, like they're fattening up on a team that's quit. I hope this one run gives us reason to score a lot more.

Let's hope the weather doesn't end this game early.

This team quit a long time ago. This is like the sooner men's basketball season, we just need it to end and end quick. Sweep this one under the rug.

Guy, I can't argue with your sentiment. Get one, give up two. Blast.

6-1, tags going into the bottom of the 8th. Hard to believe this team was coached-up enough to avoid a homefield sweep.

    "Quit" explains a lot.

Then, Uribe hits into an inning-ending DP to close out the 8th quickly. Tags still leading, going into the top of the 9th, 6-1. On a positive note, the Cowboys have punched up 8 hits, matching tags' total.

    Big 12 Conference Baseball Stats

504 was the announced attendance today.

    Thru yesterday's games

OSU does not have a .400 hitter, but the team, but the team is averaging .307 and stands tied with Baylor in the 4th position. There is not a single Cowboy in the top individual stats in pitching or hitting.

The Cowboys are second in team fielding behind Texas.

The only stat the Cowboys lead in is individual stolen bats. Davis Duren leads the league with 29 out of 34 attempts.

First sweep at home this year. Third time the Cowboys have been swept this year.

Add A&M to the list of KSU and Texas.

I know, lets fire Frank, hire Dick Cheney as head coach, and then Holder and him should go hunting together. O.S.U. got swept buy A&M. I dream for the Ward days again. So I could go back to Omaha again to support the O.S.U. Cowboys, that's all I want. I would settle for Oklahoma City. Lets face it, that's a pipe dream. FRANK HAS GOTTA GO!

I wish we would stop this. Let the remainder of the season play out. The Cowboys have three more games. If they win those, they will get to play until they lose for awhile. After the team goes home for the last time this year then the talk of retaining or not retaining Frank Anderson may be appropriate.

Until then your negativity helps no one especially this team.

I would like to tell you to shut up, but I'm not going to.

    Your words are not inviting.

Please cease your incoherent babbling. If you can actually propose an objective solution to the program's problems, then by all means, speak up. Otherwise, constantly calling for a new head coach sounds incredibly noobish and naive.

A coaching change right now would have absolutely no affect on the program. You could bring in Soggy Burrito himself (if you could somehow lure him away from those awesome facilities in Austin to the tin can of Allie P.), and nothing would happen. There are scholarship limitations, there is a complete and utter lack of support from the AD, and the facilities couldn't bring in JUCO head coach. There is absolutely no way we get anyone better than Frank with the current level of support. We should be thankful Frank even wants to stay here. He could have bolted two years ago, when he was winning, and then where would we be?
