My question through this whole baseball draft has been: If the land thieves have that many great players to go that high in the draft, how come they didn't do better?
They were 14-4 while no hitting LSU, beating Arky and taking series from Virginia and SDSU

This is Zach Cable from two weeks ago pumping 94-95 MPH.....If he can work on control, he'll be a real weapon in 2020

Just here to bring some more baseball nuggets:

2020 signee Trevor Martin from Asher, OK. Kid has a big arm. Seen him pitch over the last couple years, and kid has legit 4 pitches. Pitched last week and was 93-96 on his fastball. Probably one of our more underrated signees in the class IMO. Also here is 2022 commit Chase Shores. Kid is 6-8 210 RHP from Texas. Committed earlier this month. He posted a bullpen session on social media, Rob Walton must of liked what he saw and made the offer. Kid committed on the spot.

For anyone able to make the drive to ONEOK in Tulsa, if you have an itch to see some baseball, the TCL Drillers roster includes Kale Davis, Bryce Osmond, Huey Morrill, Max Hewitt, and Cade Cabbiness. Tom Holliday is manager, with Mickey Tettleton and Randy Whisler assisting. Should be a fun couple of months of baseball. Drillers are ensuring social distancing measures for fans at the games.

OU has the pitching....what they lack is the ability to put runs on the board consistently. If we played a full season, OU likely would've hosted a regional and played in a super somewhere. Pitching wise, they had one of the best staffs in the entire country IMO. Now their entire weekend rotation was gutted along with their top 2 HS prospects. I can see why OU fans were disappointed the season got cancelled.

One more...this is LHP Drew Blake 2021 commit from Stillwater. Committed earlier in the spring after a fast start before the Co-Vid hit. Has made a big jump in terms of velo. Last summer he was more mid 80's heater now sits 90-92 touching 93 with a hammer curve ball, which is his out pitch. He also had an outstanding showing at the PG nationals last week as well. Several OSU commits were at this event and performed well especially Ian Dougherty from Kingfisher who's also committed.

Nice to not see Donnie Walton on the 60 man, but even Kaden Polcovich has been invited and is going to get some work in.

Thomas Hatch going to summer training....He's someone who'll likely see time on the mound this season.

He came on pretty strong at the end of last season after getting traded. Hopefully he makes the jump this year.

Yeah, he definitely finished on a high note. After he was traded, his last six starts these were his stats
35 1/3 IP
25 hits
2 walks

2.80 ERA
2-3 W-L

That's awesome, but pretty sure I could get at least 5 Ks with that umpire. Anything the catcher could pull back into the zone while keeping a straight face was a called strike.
