Did anyone ever ask you to bribe or extort anyone at any time during your time in the White House?" House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes, R-Calif., asked at one point in Tuesday's hearing.
Former National Security Council (NSC) aide Tim Morrison: "No."
U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker: “No."
Later, Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., hit the same notes in asking the witnesses about Trump's fateful July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky: "Mr. Morrison, you were on that call, and there was no quid pro quo, correct? No bribery? No extortion?"
"Correct," Morrison replied in response to each question.
"And, Ambassador Volker, I presume you got a readout of the call. ... Was there any reference to withholding aid? Any reference to bribery? Any reference to quid pro quo? Any reference to extortion?"
"No, there was not," Volker replied, again and again.

This is all just political theater.

He stands zero chance of being convicted in the Senate.

Please, please get on with the business of running the country. Please?

I'm so sick of this shit I'm almost physically ill.

Cool, so Trump wasn't dumb enough to state it explicitly on the call. He just had Guiliani and his aides make sure everyone knew release of the funds and the White House visit was tied to opening of investigations everywhere else. Which is what every witness has stated thus far.

Volker basically says the charges of corruption against Biden can't be true because Volker likes Biden personally. how cute

Burisma has a history of corruption. Hunter Biden is on their board. Which part of that is a "theory"? Joe Biden should have, at the very least, recused himself due to a conflict of interest that even the previous administration was aware of and planned for. (see Yavonovich testimony)

The fact that he didn't, warrants investigation.

I like Jordan...he asks hard direct questions that need answered. He was an outstanding wrestler. As such he always goes for the "take down' which is what he is doing now.
Don’t get in the shower with him, don’t drop the soap. Your chosen champion says nothing when he observes abhorrent behavior. He’s well practiced and now, once again, defends abhorrent behavior. And the Republicans all shout in unison, Jordon, Jordon he’s our man, if Jordon can’t do it, no one can!

Volker will be lucky if he’s not charge with perjury.
