He has said he wants to wrestle at 125
Joe gets 4th. Rogers gets 5th. Really good tournaments for both
My speculation is we RS him and he comes in at 141 for Heil. Pic and Brock are both looking at 4 time AA. We don't need someone at either. We lose 4 seniors this year. Next year will be a "down year" and Heil will be the only senior. Makes sense for the team to sit him, put some muscle on him and bring him in at 141 in 2018. But, this is just IMO. We have talked more about it in the AV though
Crutch wrestles to seed at 7th. Great turnaround
For the third time in past 2 hours Boyd goes from having a single leg to getting taken down and giving up back points....
He is not nearly big enough to wrestle 141 unless he has a major growth spurt.
tOSU has 2nd locked. Still have to hold off Iowa to keep 3rd I believe
RS Smith and put him at 165.
I think the program has to be revamped now.
I know lets move Brock to 174 and take over for Crutchmer.
Does Crutchmer impress you?
Gfeller is bigger than Fix so he is the better fit to take 133 if Brock moves up or just jump to 141 himself. I really think Fix is going to be 125
I don't know how you've made it 65 years on this earth. Seriously.
Crutchmer is graduating, and while he certainly didn't have the most impressive career to your ridiculous standards, he is a two time All-American and showed real grit this weekend.
raise your hand if at any point this year you thought Picc would place higher at nationals than Brock? Great Big 12 & national tournaments for this kid.

I agree with this and unless Brock gets bigger and stronger I can't see him moving up. We have seen what happens when he faces bigger stronger wrestler like Gross who moved down from 141 this year.
I just don't see Brock being bumped to 141. Like I said, this is my speculation. You have a guaranteed AA right now at 125 and 133. A national champ at 141. All for next year. Why eff with that? Especially considering we lose 3 AAs while PSU returns 5 finalists. RS him and see if he can compete at 141 (which I think he will be able to bc he is gonna be one of the freaks) after a year in the room. If he can't, then you gotta push Brock up to have the best shot. My issue basically with him being 125 or 133 is that neither Pic nor Brock strike me as able to move up. Again, IMO.
Does anyone know where we would have stood in the team race with if Collica and Schafer had at least wrestled to AA?
add 24.5 points I think assuming no bonus (thats wrestling to seed, not just AA) so up 1.5 points going into finals
I so much dislike the coach's interviews during the matches. Please stop ESPN and let the coaches coach their wrestlers. It adds absolutely nothing to the broadcast, it takes away from it.
Still better than "No Way" Spates though.
Heil up next.
